T - Shirt Quilt Class
Learn how to create a t-shirt quilt top that's easy to sew.
In Session One you will learn how to stabilize and cut designs from shirts.
In Session Two you will learn to add sashing and join blocks for a completed quilt top.
| Skill Level: | Beginner |
| Skill Details: | Must be able to sew a straight line, have an understanding of 1/4" seam and be able to measure and cut fabric. |
| Materials Included: | Cutting mats, irons and a pressing cloth will be provided. |
| Requirements: | All shirts must be washed and dried without any fabric softener and/or dryer sheets. You will need approximately 30 shirts for a full size quilt. You will need to purchase the following materials from our store for this class: Fabric for quilt top sashing and outside border - 1 1/2 yards Pellon PLF36 Fusible Interfacing Tools needed for this class: Scissors Rotary Cutter 12 1/2" ruler or 15" if shirts are larger than XL Straight pins Tape measure and....You will need Thread. These items may be purchased at a 10% discount for the class. |
